Three teens arrested after breaking into schools, SA

Three youths have been arrested after allegedly breaking into southern suburbs schools overnight, according to SA Police.

South Coast patrols responded to an alarm at Pimpala Primary School at 6am on Sunday 9 July and found the suspects trying to carry a television out of a building.

The three boys were quickly arrested. Further investigation revealed they had also broken into Prescott Primary School and Southern Vales Christian Community School at Morphett Vale earlier in the night.

A 16-year-old Hackham boy, a 15-year-old O'Sullivan Beach boy and a 17-year-old from Hackham were all charged with three counts of aggravated serious criminal trespass, theft and property damage.

They were bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Youth Court on 24 August.
