Upgrade works are continuing at Ricketts Point as part of the new public toilet and Changing Places facility.
Demolition of the existing bluestone toilet building will begin in the week commencing 18 May 2026. This work is required to recover bluestone from the current structure so it can be reused in the new facility and to allow essential services, including electricity, to be relocated.
These works will require closure of the car park from Thursday 14 May for one day on while materials are delivered.
Temporary toilets will be available nearby throughout the works.
The completed project will provide a modern, accessible and inclusive public toilet facility, including a Changing Places space to better support people with complex disabilities and their carers.
Thanks for your patience while these works are completed.
