A young Toowoomba couple is happily hunting for their first family home after the revelation they won $1 million in one of this week's Weekday Windfall draws.

The Darling Downs duo held one of the three division one winning entries nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4555, drawn Wednesday 4 June 2025 and can look forward to a clean $1 million.

As their entry wasn't registered to The Lott Members Club, we had been eagerly waiting for the ticketholder to make contact.

However, speaking to us, the ecstatic couple shared they realised their good fortune shortly after Wednesday night's draw.

"Yaaay!" the winning woman exclaimed when the win was confirmed.

"On Wednesday night, we were just chatting and realised we have a ticket in the draw, so we scanned it and found out!"

"We thought it was going to be a split prize of something as we saw there were two other division one winners in the same draw. But then we looked into it and thought, 'Holy sh**'!," the happy man added.

"Hoorah!! One million dollars!"

Remarkably, the pair shared they bought their ticket on a whim.

"This is the very first ticket I've ever bought," the Toowoomba woman said.

"I was passing the newsagency and thought I'd get it.

"We'll definitely be buying a house - our first house!"

The winning entry was purchased at Nextra Grand Central, Shop 20 Grand Central Shopping Centre, Dent Street and Margaret Street, Toowoomba.

Nextra Grand Central team member Jen Newman said she couldn't believe her team had sold a division one winning entry worth $1 million.

"It's amazing news! Everyone at Nextra Grand Central is so excited to have sold a division one winning entry worth a life-changing $1 million," she shared.

"We welcome so many wonderful people through our doors every day, and it truly could be anyone who's taken home this incredible million-dollar prize.

"Someone's life has just changed in the most amazing way.

"Congratulations to the winner! We hope this win brings you joy, comfort and the chance to follow your dreams."
