Toowoomba Regional Council's (TRC) Construction and Maintenance teams are working across the Region's northern, central, and southern areas to deliver an $18 million 2024 Flood Recovery Program.

TRC Construction and Maintenance (Infrastructure Services) portfolio spokesperson, Cr Carol Taylor, said the teams are repairing vital road and drainage infrastructure that was damaged during the January 2024 flood event.

"The scale of the recovery effort reflects the significant impact the January 2024 floods had on our Region's road network," Cr Taylor said.

"Our Construction and Maintenance teams are doing an outstanding job to restore essential road infrastructure and supporting the operational reliability of our network.

"By delivering these works through internal teams, Council is leveraging local expertise and ensuring cost efficiency by using Council resources to meet recovery goals.
