Toowoomba LDMG moves to Stand-Up

Community Update

The Toowoomba Local Disaster Management Group (LDMG) has moved to Stand-Up as QFES issues further warnings for bushfires burning at The Pines and Condamine Farms.

Toowoomba Region Mayor Geoff McDonald said the LDMG was at stand up and residents were being asked to monitor further warnings that may be issued by QFES.

"Overnight residents who have properties between Flamingo Road, Rosella Avenue and Scrubby Creek Boondanilla Road to the Gore Highway were all asked to leave immediately," he said.

"Council provided assistance by making graders available, as well as a water truck and will continue to help out where possible.

"Please stay up to date with the latest warnings."
