Toowoomba Region Councillors start Friday community visits

Toowoomba Region Councillors will start a regular schedule of Friday community visits to personally speak with residents across the region from late August.

Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) Environment and Community Services Committee chair Cr James O'Shea said residents were welcome to meet elected representatives at any of the scheduled locations.

"Residents are encouraged to attend the community visits to discuss any relevant Council-related activities, services or projects with the visiting Councillors," Cr O'Shea said.

"There are many electronic ways of contacting Councillors or accessing information about our services and projects, including the live-streaming of Committee and Ordinary Meetings of Council.
