Hard waste collections for eligible properties in Monash run from 13 July to 4 September.
If your property is eligible, make sure we can collect your hard waste by:
- Checking what you can and can't put out.
Preparing items correctly before collection (like glass and green waste).
Look for instructions in your hard waste flyer, delivered 2 weeks before your collection date, or on the annual hard waste collection page.
Top reasons we can't collect hard waste
The items below are the most common reasons why hard waste has been left behind so far.

| Unbundled green waste | Tie green waste into bundles using natural twine |

| Gas bottle and fire extinguishers | Remove from hard waste. Follow advice from the Victorian Government |
| General rubbish (bagged waste), recyclables, food | Remove from hard waste. Put in your household bins. |

In most cases, items are left behind because they aren't prepared correctly or can't be collected through the annual hard waste service.
Some items are also collected by different trucks on different days.
