Car park repairs are underway at Toronto Commercial Centre, alongside ongoing work to upgrade accessibility and mobility features.

The barrier to the north-east side of the car park on level two was recently damaged, necessitating the temporary closure of three parking spaces on level two and the ground level below to undertake repairs.

These spaces, at the western end of the car park, will be unavailable for about six weeks while repairs are made.

A section of the road will occasionally be barricaded for periods of about four hours to allow crane access during works, and traffic controls will be in place at these times.

Signage will be displayed onsite to notify of changed conditions, and the contractor will maintain access to the centre throughout the project.

Tenants and visitors to the centre are advised that the project will generate some noise. Contractors will do their best to limit impacts on residents and businesses.

These repairs are separate to the ongoing works to replace floor tiles to address waterproofing concerns and updating balustrading and the existing accessible ramp.

Council's contractor has completed the demolition works associated with the tile replacement, and has uncovered conditions that were not anticipated.

Council is investigating solutions to continue the scheduled tile works and will provide updates when possible.

Works are expected to be completed by September.

We greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation as we carry out these improvements.
