Tow truck driver clipped by passing vehicle - South Morang

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a tow truck driver was clipped by a vehicle in South Morang yesterday afternoon.

The driver, a 28-year-old Wallan man, attended the scene of a collision near the intersection of Plenty Road and Hawkstowe Parade about 3pm.

While loading the damaged car onto his truck, he was struck by the mirror of a passing small white truck with a cage on the back.

The Wallan man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The truck driver who clipped the man did not stop and was last seen driving south-bound on Plenty Road.
