Toyota Aids Libya Flood Relief Efforts

Toyota would like to express our deepest condolences to the people of Libya following the devastating floods on and after September 10, 2023.

Since the 1960s, Toyota Motor Corporation has sold vehicles in Libya, and today, many Toyota vehicles support customers who rely on and enjoy them as indispensable tools in their daily lives.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of so many precious lives and the hardships following this devastating disaster as the people of Libya begin the road to recovery.

To support the relief effort, Toyota Motor Corporation, together with Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Toyota South Africa Motors, Toyota Motor Europe, and others involved in Toyota Africa-related business, are coming together in a One Toyota Africa response. A total of $75,000 US dollars (approx. 11 million yen) is being donated to the Red Cross/International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and others for emergency relief.

We thank all those involved in relief efforts and sincerely hope for a quick recovery.
