Police are advising motorists to be aware of traffic delays in Greenacre this morning; due to an operation to extinguish a large factory fire, NSW Police say.
About 3.30am today tomorrow, police and emergency services responded to the fire at a factory on Rosedale Avenue.
Several Fire & Rescue NSW crews are undertaking operations this morning to extinguish the fire.
There have been no reports of injury and no evacuations at this stage.
Fire fighting operations will impact local traffic with diversions in place at the following intersections:
- Brunker Road and Anzac Street;
- Brunker Road and Claremont Avenue; and
- Hume Highway and Beresford Avenue
Motorists are advised to avoid the area while operations take place and allow plenty of time for travel.
