Traffic Alert: NSW Police Academy Open Day

NSW Police are advising the local community of significant traffic increase in and around the NSW Police Academy ahead of the NSW Police Academy Open Day.

More than 4000 people are expected to attend the NSW Police Academy on Saturday 27 September 2025.

NSW Police Academy Commander, Chief Superintendent John Klepczarek said a high-visibility traffic operation would be in place for the duration of the event.

"General duties officers from the local area will be assisted by officers from the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command to minimise the traffic impact on the local community," Chief Superintendent Klepczarek said.

"Open day guests and the wider community are encouraged to plan their trips into the Goulburn CBD or expect delays."

Increased traffic is expected on Saturday between 9am to 3pm on multiple roads surrounding the Academy, including Sydney Road, Union Street to Tarlo Street, Middle Arm Road and McDermott Drive.

Times will vary, and motorists are advised to refer to the live traffic website for all traffic information and live traffic reports.
