Officers from North Shore Police Area Command have closed Broughton Street, Kirribilli due to a gas leak. , NSW Police say>
A gas line was ruptured about 10.20pm (Monday 20 August 2018) on Broughton Street, near Ennis Road.
Broughton Street is now closed in both directions.
Two southbound lanes of the Harbour Bridge (lanes 7 and 8), and pedestrian access, have also been closed until further notice.
No residential evacuations required.
