Traffic Crash Appeal, Highgrove

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious traffic crash in Highgrove on 2 December to contact police.

Initial investigations indicate that just before 2pm, a BT-50 Mazda utility was travelling south along Oakey Cooyar Road when it collided with a B- Double truck that was travelling in a northerly direction.

The driver and sole occupant of the utility, an 18-year-old Westbrook woman, was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital in a life-threatening condition.

The driver of the B-Double truck, a 35-year-old Dalby man, was uninjured.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash and in particular anyone who may have rendered assistance to the 18-year-old woman at the scene to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
