Police are appealing for dashcam vision following a traffic crash in Watalgan yesterday afternoon, 22 April.
Initial investigations indicate a silver Isuzu D-Max utility was travelling along Rosedale Road towards Bundaberg at 12.50pm, when it approached a second vehicle being driven on the incorrect side of the road near a bend north of the Winfield turnoff.
This caused the driver of the Isuzu to subsequently lose control of the vehicle and roll it. The driver of the other vehicle failed to stop and continued driving.
The driver of the Isuzu, a 47-year-old Oyster Creek woman, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital. One of the passengers, a 51-year-old Oyster Creek man, suffered minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment. The second passenger, a 25-year-old Oyster Creek woman, experienced some shock but was uninjured.
The second vehicle remains outstanding and is described as a white car with a single occupant.
Police are appealing for anyone with dashcam vision from the area at the time to come forward.
