Traffic Crash Witness Appeal At Gympie

Police are appealing for witnesses following a single-vehicle traffic crash in East Deep Creek this morning, July 31.

Around 10am, police were called to the southbound lanes of the Bruce Highway following reports a truck had struck a guardrail.

The Bruce Highway was shut for a number of hours as a result of the crash.

The driver and sole occupant, a 23-year-old man, was physically uninjured.

Investigators are appealing to anyone with dashcam vision of the truck and other relevant vehicles in the area immediately prior to the crash to contact police.
