(Weather permitting) Ballarat Fire Brigade in conjunction with other local CFA brigades will be undertaking a controlled burn of bushland along Tinworth Avenue Mount Clear on Saturday, January 9.
The burn off will begin at 1pm and will be completed by 6pm between Cartledge Avenue and Highfield Avenue Mount Clear.
For the safety of CFA crews and road users, traffic control will be in place with some traffic delays while the burn off is undertaken.
The burn off is scheduled to reduce the risk within the area and to promote regrowth of native vegetation. It will only go ahead if weather conditions are suitable.
