Trail bike rider suffers critical injuries in crash in Busby

Officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit are investigating a crash involving an unregistered trail bike and a Toyota Hilux in Busby overnight, NSW Police say.

Shortly before midnight (Friday 14 December 2018) emergency services were called to the intersection of Aberdeen and Fresian Streets in Busby following reports of a crash.

On arrival officers located a man aged in his twenties on the roadway suffering head injuries.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.

The male driver of the Hilux was arrested the scene before being taken to Liverpool Police Station where he is currently assisting police with inquiries.
