Travel To Indonesia

Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, Julie Collins MP, will travel to Indonesia later this week to discuss our close cooperation on a range of agricultural matters.

Minister Collins will spend three days in Indonesia, visiting Jakarta, and meeting with her Indonesian Government Ministerial counterparts to further strengthen this important relationship, following the Prime Minister's visit to Indonesia in May.

Indonesia is Australia's 5th largest agricultural export market, with two-way trade valued at A$5.5 billion in FY2023-2024.

Alongside Ministerial meetings, the Minister will take part in a number of events to further highlight and strengthen the relationship with Indonesia.

The Albanese Labor Government is committed to collaboration and cooperation with Indonesia, for both our mutual benefit and the peace, stability and prosperity of our region.

The Government has worked tirelessly to expand opportunities for our farmers and producers to export our world-class products on the international stage.
