Tree pruning works on Mt Barker Road, Aldgate

Trees on the verge of Mt Barker Road in Aldgate, west of Yatina Road, will be trimmed for safety reasons on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 October between 9:00am and 3:00pm.

The work is required to reduce the likelihood of brittle deadwood branches falling within trees that span the road, parking bays, bus shelters, and footpaths, and speed restrictions will be in place to keep all passing traffic safe.

Some roadside parking will be closed during this period; the 'Park and Ride' car park to the northern side of Mt Barker Road will remain accessible. Outbound bus stop 43 (northern side of the road) will be temporarily closed and moved to stop 44, further east.
