Detectives from Maroondah Crime Investigation Unit along with officers from Croydon have arrested three people in Wantirna South this morning.
The trio were arrested when police attended an apartment on Stud Road just before 3am.
Two men were arrested after police located cash, drugs and a loaded handgun inside the apartment.
A 34-year-old man was also arrested on a warrant for an unrelated matter on 22 November.
They remain in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
