Three teenagers will face court charged following an alleged break and enter and a pursuit on the Central Coast this morning.
About 2.40am (Monday 9 February 2026), police were called to a home on Ocean Drive, MacMasters Beach, following reports a group had allegedly entered the home before staling a knife, keys and a garage remote.
About 2.50am, police attempted to stop a vehicle on Cochrane Street, Kincumber, that had allegedly been stolen from a home in Hamlyn Terrace the day prior (Sunday 8 February 2026).
When the driver allegedly failed to stop as directed, a pursuit was initiated.
The pursuit continued through several suburbs before coming to a stop on Astley Street, Gorokan, where it crashed into a bollard.
After a short foot pursuit, police arrested the alleged driver – a 15-year-old boy – and two occupants, girls aged 14, nearby.
A male passenger exited the vehicle and was not able to be located.
During a search of the vehicle, police allegedly located and seized a knife, keys and garage remote.
The three were taken to Wyong Police Station where the driver was charged with aggravated enter dwelling with intent - knowing people there, and police pursuit - not stop - drive dangerously.
He was refused bail to appear before a children's court today (Monday 9 February 2026).
The two passengers were charged with be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner.
One of the passengers was refused bail to appear before a children's court today (Monday 9 February 2026), while the other was granted strict conditional bail to appear before a children's court on Thursday 26 February 2026.
Inquiries into the whereabouts of the fourth occupant continue.
