Trio charged after building site burglaries in Melbourne's south

Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged three people following a series of burglaries at building sites and evading police in Melbourne's south.

The burglaries occurred at a number of building sites in Keysborough, Patterson Lakes and Seaford.

It is alleged offenders evaded police on Gamble Road in Carrum Downs on Monday 23 August.

Two men and a woman were arrested at a Doveton address yesterday and police seized a vehicle and various tools.

Investigators also executed a warrant at a Seaford address where further stolen property was seized.

A 34-year-old Frankston man has been charged with four counts of burglary, four counts of theft, fail to stop vehicle on police request, handle stolen goods, drive in a manner dangerous and other related offences.

He was remanded to appear at Frankston Magistrates Court today.

A 27- year-old Seaford man has been charged with three counts of burglary, three counts of theft, handle stolen goods and negligently deal proceeds of crime.

A 21-year-old Cranbourne woman has been charged with three counts of burglary and three counts of theft.

They have both been bailed to appear at court on 3 March.
