A teenage boy has been charged and another two have been dealt with under the Young Offenders Act following an alleged break and enter on the Central Coast.
About 2.20am yesterday (Thursday 14 August 2025), officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District were called to a home on Silver Place, Lisarow, following reports of a break and enter.
At the scene, police were told three males allegedly entered the home before stealing keys, a wallet and electronics, and a BMW X5M SUV.
Police patrolled the area and attempted to stop the vehicle in Tuggerah; however, the driver allegedly failed to stop as directed.
Police commenced further inquiries to locate the vehicle and found it abandoned on Teamster Close, Tuggerah, a short time later.
The area was searched with the assistance of the Dog Unit, and three boys - one aged 14 and two aged 13 - were arrested a nearby.
The boys were taken to Wyong Police Station where the older boy was charged with aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence - people there, aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence - in company - steal, steal motor vehicle, never licensed person drive vehicle on road, and not stop vehicle when directed to do so.
He was refused bail to appear before a children's court yesterday (Thursday 14 August 2025), where he was formally refused bail to appear before the same court on Friday 22 August 2025).
The younger boys were dealt with under the Young Offenders Act.
