Truck Driver Charged After Fatal Collision In Bendigo

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a fatal collision in Bendigo last year.

Emergency services were called to reports a truck had collided with a pedestrian on High Street just after 8.30am on 10 October 2025.

The pedestrian, a 15-year-old boy, died at the scene.

The truck driver, a 36-year-old Sebastian man, was not injured.

He has been charged with dangerous driving causing death, driving manner dangerous, careless driving and failing to give way at a pedestrian crossing.

He was bailed to appear at Bendigo Magistrates' Court on 11 November.
