Truck driver charged with drink drivingn - Blue Mountains

The driver of a fully-laden semi-trailer will face court on a drink driving charge after being stopped in the Blue Mountains this morning.

About 2.25am (Wednesday 20 March 2019), officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command stopped a semi-trailer on the Great Western Highway at Blaxland.

The driver, a 48-year-old man, returned a positive roadside breath test and a subsequent breath analysis returned an alleged reading of 0.123.

He was charged with driving with a mid-range PCA. His NSW Drivers Licence was suspended.

The Cowra man was granted bail and will appear in Penrith Local Court on Wednesday 10 April 2019.
