Truck driver killed at Bena

Police and emergency services are currently at the scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a truck driver at Bena this morning.

Police have been told the truck was travelling west on the South Gippsland Highway when the driver pulled over on the highway just after 10.30am.

It is believed the man had stopped and was checking underneath the vehicle when it rolled.

He died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.
