Turn Bearcat Pride Into Impact On UC Day Of Giving

During a special 24-hour period this April, the University of Cincinnati community will come together around a shared goal: strengthening the future of UC and UC Health.

UC Day of Giving runs from noon on Tuesday, April 14, through noon on Wednesday, April 15, inviting Bearcats everywhere to invest in the programs and people that matter most to them.

Supporters can direct their gifts to a wide range of priorities, from student scholarships to research initiatives and campus programs. Each contribution - regardless of size - helps advance innovation, opportunity and long-term growth across the university and health system.

Organized by the UC Foundation and UC Alumni Association, UC Day of Giving is a featured event of Alumni Week (April 13-18), relying on the energy and passion of donors and volunteer advocates who help spread the word across their digital and personal networks.

"Especially during this 24 hours, the power and generosity of the Bearcat community is on full display," said Rich Bundy, president of the UC Foundation and UC vice president of advancement. "UC Day of Giving unites us around a shared purpose: philanthropy to fuel and accelerate, our academic and health missions."

This year's UC Day of Giving will offer more than 20 challenges and exceed $65,000 in matching funds, providing opportunities for donors to increase the impact of their support.

All gifts made through noon on April 15 will be included in UC Day of Giving.

UC faculty and staff can make their support go even further. Gifts made via credit card or payroll deduction before April 15 will count toward both UC Day of Giving and this year's Faculty & Staff Campaign.

"Everyone's UC journey is unique," said Chief Alumni Officer Jennifer Heisey. "UC Day of Giving gives us the opportunity to invest in the programs, people, and places that shaped our own experiences and to make a meaningful impact on the next generation of students."
