Two arrested after man assaulted in Kingswood

A man and woman have been arrested after a man was assaulted in Sydney’s west this morning, NSW Police say.

About 10.20am (Thursday 27 September 2018), emergency services were called to Bringelly Road, Kingswood, after reports a 48-year-old man was assaulted.

When officers from Nepean Police Area Command arrived, they found the injured man suffering facial injuries.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to Westmead Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

A 31-year-old man was arrested after police deployed OC spray. A 32-year-old woman was also arrested at the scene.

They were taken to Penrith Police Station where they are assisting with inquiries.

The trio were known to each other.
