Two arrested after taxi driver robbed at Woodville North, SA

A man and women are in custody following a robbery at Woodville North early this morning, according to SA Police.

Just after 2.30am, Tuesday 28 March, police were called to Hanson Road after reports a Taxi driver was being robbed by two people.

Patrols quickly attended the scene and saw two people running along Hanson Road. Patrols chased the man and woman apprehending them a short distance away. It will be alleged the man and woman had threatened the victim with a screwdriver before stealing cash, thankfully the victim wasn't physically injured.

The man a 24-year-old from Holden Hill and the 27-year-old woman from Semaphore Park were charged with aggravated robbery they have both been refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
