Two arrested after traffic stop leads to drug find in Park Holme, SA

A routine traffic stop by Sturt patrols in the early hours of this morning has led to the arrest of two people and the discovery of 2.5 litres of the dangerous drug fantasy, according to SA Police.

Police will allege that at about 4.30am, a patrol stopped a car on Nunyah Avenue in Park Holme. A subsequent search of the car uncovered the drugs concealed inside the vehicle.

A 43-year-old man from Wynn Vale and a 29-year-old woman from Park Holme were both charged for trafficking a large commercial quantity of controlled drug. Both were granted bail to appear at the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 14 November.

Police are continuing their investigation into the source of the drugs, and are taking this opportunity to remind the community about the dangers of illicit drugs such as fantasy which are often manufactured using dangerous and harmful chemicals.
