Two Charged After Assault at Orange

Two people will face court following an alleged assault in the state's central west.

About 7pm on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, police were called to Burreburry Crescent, Orange, following reports of an assault.

On arrival, officers attached to Central West Police District were told a group of men had been involved in an altercation where a knife was allegedly produced.

A 60-year-old man was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

A 34-year-old man was arrested and taken to Orange Police Station where he was charged with stalk intimidate intend cause fear/physical harm and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He was refused bail to appear before Orange Local Court on Thursday 11 December 2025.

A 15-year-old boy was charged with stalk intimidate intend cause fear/physical harm (two counts) and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He was granted conditional bail to appear before a Children's Court on Monday 16 February 2026.
