Police have charged two men over an alleged drug supply in Lake Illawarra region.
Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District commenced an investigation last Monday (30 June 2025), into an alleged cocaine supply from a home in Mount Warrigal area.
Following inquiries, police executed a search warrant at a home on Landy Drive, Mount Warringal, about 9.30am yesterday (Wednesday 3 July 2025), where they have arrested two men, aged 35 and 45.
During the search, officers seized about 600g of items suspected of being illicit drugs, including MDMA, cocaine, and cannabis, along with more than $12,000 cash, two crossbows and ammunition.
They were taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station where the older man was charged with possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority, supply prohibited drug (more than small and less than or equal to indictable quantity), recklessly deal with proceeds of crime (less than or equal to $5000), possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit, and possess prohibited drug.
The younger man was charged with drive motor vehicle while licence suspended, supply prohibited drug (more than indicatable and less than commercial quantity), deal with property proceeds of crime (less than $100000 and more than $5000), and possess prohibited drug (three counts).
They were both refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today (Thursday 3 July 2025).
