Two Charged in Amar Kettule Murder

Homicide Squad detectives have charged two men for their alleged role in the murder of Amar Kettule in 2021.

About 2.40am on Sunday 10 January 2021, emergency services were called to Ware Street in Fairfield, following reports a man had been shot.

Despite efforts to revive the 34-year-old, he died at the scene.

The man has since been identified as Amar Kettule.

Following extensive inquiries, about 6am yesterday (Thursday 6 November 2025), strike force detectives executed two search warrants in Bossley Park and Austral.

At the Austral address, police arrested a 23-year-old man.

In Bossley Park, police arrested a 22-year-old man.

They were taken to Cabramatta Police Station, where they were charged with destroy etc property in company use fire etc >$5000.

Both were refused bail and appeared in Fairfield Local Court the same day.

Police will allege in court the men were responsible for destroying the car used in the offence.
