Hume Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged two men after Lego was stolen during an alleged armed robbery in Sunbury last week.
It is alleged the men entered a toy store at a shopping centre on Evans Street, armed with a weapon, about 4.30pm on Thursday, 7 August.
They allegedly stole items, including Lego worth around $1000.
A female staff member confronted the offenders as they were about to leave the store, before one of them allegedly threatened her.
She was not physically injured and attempted to chase them on foot through the shopping centre and car park.
Police executed two search warrants at properties in Werribee yesterday.
Two men were arrested and interviewed by detectives.
The 35-year-old Werribee man and the 34-year-old Werribee man were both charged with armed robbery, theft from shop, assault and bail offences.
They will both appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.
