Two charged over drugs at Coomera, QLD

Police have charged a man and woman after allegedly locating a significant quantity of drugs at Coomera yesterday, Queensland Police say.

Around 10am, officers from the Rapid Action Patrol group executed a search warrant on a property at Olearia Street.

It will be alleged that inside, police located around 200 grams of methamphetamine, 20ml of GHB, cannabis, ammunition, drug utensils, around $1300 cash, a conductive energy device, restricted prescription medication and stolen credit cards.

A 32-year-old Coomera man and a 32-year-old Coomera woman have each been charged with six counts of possessing dangerous drugs, two counts of possessing tainted property, one count each of possessing an explosive (ammunition), possessing drug utensils, possessing a thing used in the commission of a drug offence and possessing a weapon.

Both are scheduled to appear at the Southport Magistrates Court on November 15, 2018.
