Two charged over home invasion in Bondi

Two men have been charged over an alleged home invasion in Bondi on Wednesday night, NSW Police say.

Police from Eastern Suburbs Local Area Command have been told a party was being held at Curlewis Street, Bondi Beach, about 11pm (10 May 2017), when a number of men entered the unit.

The men assaulted residents and guests before police were called for assistance.

A number of items were stolen as the men left the unit.

Residents of a neighbouring unit were then attacked.

Emergency services were called to the scene and several people were treated for minor injuries such as bruising and swelling.

Investigators from Eastern Suburbs Local Area Command commenced an investigation.

About 6.15am today, police arrested a 39-year-old man in Surry Hills.

He was taken to Surry Hills Police Station and charged with aggravated enter dwelling in company.

The man was refused bail and fronted Central Local Court where he was remanded in custody to reappear at the same court on Thursday 29 June 2017.

About 4.20pm the same day, police arrested a 32-year-old man at Surry Hills Police Station.

He was also charged with aggravated enter dwelling in company.

He was refused bail to appear at Central Local Court tomorrow.
