Two charged over stabbing in Hurstville

Two people have been charged following investigations into a stabbing at Hurstville last week, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Hillcrest Avenue about 10pm on Wednesday 8 November 2017, following reports a man had been stabbed during a domestic dispute.

Officers from St George Local Area Command attended and found a 23-year-old man with a stab wound to his hand.

Police were told the man had been involved in an altercation with a number of people who were known to him.

He was treated in St George Hospital and has since been released.

Following inquiries, a 19-year-old woman was arrested on Friday (10 November 2017) and taken to Auburn Police Station where she was charged with conceal serious indictable offence.

She was granted conditional bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on 7 December 2017.

Following further inquiries, an 18-year-old man was arrested at Kogarah Police Station about 10am yesterday (Sunday 12 November 2017).

The Eastwood man was charged with reckless wounding – in company (DV) and bail refused to appear at Sutherland Local Court today (Monday 13 November 2017).
