Two injured in fail to stop crash in Campsie

Police are investigating a fail to stop crash in Campsie yesterday which left two men seriously injured.

About 9am today, two men, aged 31 and 32, were approaching a vehicle parked on McKern Street, Campsie, when they were struck by a car which did not stop after the collision.

The 31-year-old received a fractured right forearm and abrasions to his left hand and forehead. He was taken to Canterbury Hospital for treatment.

The 32-year-old man suffered serious facial injuries which will require surgery. He was also taken to Canterbury Hospital before being transferred to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for further treatment.

Police from Campsie Local Area Command attended and are investigating the incident, NSW Police say.

No witnesses have yet been identified.

The only description available is that the offending vehicle may have been a small silver coloured car.
