Two injured in motorcycle and vehicle crash at Penshurst

Police are investigating after a vehicle failed to stop following a crash with a motorcycle that left two people injured.

About 1:20am (Monday 8 April 2019), emergency services were called to the intersection of Forest Road and Jersey Avenue, Penshurst, after reports of a crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle.

The male rider and his female passenger, both in their 30s, were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before both were taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition with leg injuries.

The driver of the vehicle did not stop.

Officers from St George Police Area Command attended and have commenced inquiries to locate the other driver.

As inquiries continue, police urge anyone who may have witnessed or have dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
