Two men airlifted from scene of motorbike crash - Murra Creek

Two men have been airlifted from the scene of a motorbike crash in the state's Orana region.

About 1.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 10 September 2019), officers attached to Central North Police District received reports of a motorbike accident on Booka Road at Murra Creek, approximately 90km from Nyngan.

Police were told one rider, a 56-year-old Merimbula man, lost control and fell from his bike.

The rider travelling behind, a 50-year-old Maitland man, has collided with the fallen bike and was thrown approximately 10m from his bike.

Emergency services arrived at the remote location and treated the men for various injuries.

Both men were airlifted from the scene in a serious condition and taken to St George Hospital for treatment.

Investigations continue.
