Two men have been arrested following an investigation into blackmail and robbery that occurred in July, according to SA Police.
Detectives from the Serious Crime Task Force yesterday arrested a 40-year-old man of no fixed address and a 30-year-old Glenelg North man and charged them with aggravated robbery, blackmail, aggravated assault, unlawful detention and illegal use of a motor vehicle. The 30-year-old man was also charged with possess firearm with intent.
Police will allege the pair assaulted a man and stole property from him, and made further threats towards him.
The 40-year-old man has been remanded in custody to appear in court at a later date, and the 30-year-old man was refused bail to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
