Two men charged over alleged affray, NSW

Two men have been charged over an alleged affray in the Hawkesbury two months ago, NSW Police say.

Police from the Gangs Squad’s Strike Force Raptor commenced an investigation following a fight outside a fast food restaurant on March Street, Richmond, about 3.45pm on Saturday 12 March 2016.

Initial inquiries revealed two men were arguing on the street, before becoming involved in a physical altercation in the car park of the restaurant.

Numerous people were at the location at the time, but no injuries were reported.

Following extensive investigations, a 30-year-old man, who is an associate of the Rebels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, was arrested after he was stopped in a vehicle on McGraths Road, McGraths Hill, last Thursday (19 May 2016).

The McGraths Hill man was taken to Windsor Police Station and charged with affray.

He was granted bail and is due to appear at Windsor Local Court on Thursday 2 June 2016.

As a result of subsequent inquiries, a 22-year-old man was arrested at Windsor Police Station yesterday.

The Richmond man was refused bail to appear at Penrith Local Court today.
