Police have charged two men with various drug offences following a vehicle search in Wollongong, NSW Police say.
Shortly before 5.30pm yesterday today, police stopped a red Mitsubishi Lancer on Princess Highway, Figtree, for a random breath test.
Police will allege a 20-year-old man in the backseat was acting suspiciously.
Officers conducted a search of the man and allegedly located a number of tablets and more than $1000 in cash.
The driver of the vehicle, a 20-year-old man, was also searched.
Police allegedly located a number of empty capsules, a white crystal substance and a number of tablets.
During a search of the vehicle police allegedly located scales and weights.
Both men were arrested and taken to Wollongong Police Station.
The first 20-year-old man has been charged with knowingly take part in supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug and goods in custody.
He was refused bail to appear at Wollongong Local Court today tomorrow.
The second 20-year-old man was charged with two counts of possess prohibited drug, supply prohibited drug indictable quantity and ongoing supply.
He was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Wollongong Local Court in Wednesday 3 August 2016.
