Two men sought after Hendon break-in, SA

Police are investigating an incident at Hendon where two men broke into a home and stole the occupants car before crashing it at Woodville Gardens, according to SA Police.

About 1am on Wednesday 25 January two men, one armed with a rifle and the other armed with a crowbar, smashed in the front doors of a Bayly Street home and assaulted the male occupant.

The two men stole iPads, mobile phones and cash along with the keys to the resident’s car, and left in their black 2003 Porsche Cayenne.

The man sustained facial injuries during the incident.

The suspects were described as having solid builds, between 175cm-180cm tall and wearing balaclavas.

About 1.40am members of the public reported a collision on the corner of Humphries Terrace and Eighth Avenue, Woodville Gardens involving the stolen Porsche. A man was seen running off from the abandoned car and onto Seventh Avenue.

Witnesses described the man as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, tall with long black hair and wearing a black leather jacket.
