Two stabbed in brawl in Panania

Two men are in hospital and another is in custody after a stabbing in Sydney’s south west, NSW Police say.

About 11.30pm (Saturday 17 March 2018), emergency services were called to Panania Railway Station after reports of a brawl.

Police attended and located a man with a stab wound to his arm. He has been taken to Liverpool Hospital where he is understood to be in a serious condition.

Another man was located with hand lacerations and has been taken to Bankstown Hospital.

The ages of these men are not yet available.

A crime scene was established and a 21-year-old man was by police a short distance away.

He has been taken to Bankstown Police Station where inquiries continue.
