Two teenage girls have been charged after a teenage girl was allegedly stabbed in Sydney's west.
About 2.30pm yesterday (Friday 4 September 2026), emergency services responded to reports of a brawl outside a school on Lancaster Street, Blacktown.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 17-year-old girl for multiple stab wounds before she was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command were told multiple people were involved in a brawl before the girl was allegedly stabbed.
After being stabbed the girl entered the school grounds to seek assistance.
The girl is not believed to be affiliated with the school.
All other persons fled the scene prior to the arrival of emergency services.
A crime scene has been established and investigations commenced into the circumstances of the incident.
Following inquiries, later the same day, two girls – aged 15 and 17 – were arrested at Mount Druitt Police Station.
Police conducted a search of a vehicle allegedly used during the incident and allegedly located and seized a knife.
The 17-year-old was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and affray.
She was refused bail to appear before a children's court today (Saturday 5 Sept 2026).
The 15-year-old girl was charged with affray.
She was granted conditional bail to appear before a children's court on Monday 14 September 2026.
