Two vehicles impounded, licences suspended after burnouts - Strike Force Puma

A man and three teenagers have been charged with a range of driving offences including burnouts and driving while suspended.

About 9pm on Thursday (11 July 2019), four men allegedly conducted burnouts at Reconciliation Rise, Pemulwuy.

Officers from Strike Force Puma commenced an investigation and identified the men.

On Friday (12 July 2019), officers attended a property in Greystanes and spoke to a 17-year-old. He was issued with an infringement notice for committing a burnout. He will appear in court at a later date.

On Monday (15 July 2019), police attended a residence in Greystanes and spoke to an 18-year-old. He was issued with a field court attendance notice for three counts of aggravated burnout, providing a false statement and driving whilst suspended. His vehicle was seized and towed.

He will appear at Parramatta Local Court on 28 August 2019.

On Wednesday (17 July 2019), officers attended a residence in Guildford and spoke to an 18-year-old. He was issued a field court attendance notice for aggravated burnout and had his licence suspended. His vehicle was seized and towed. He will appear in court at a later date.

On Thursday (18 July 2019), officers attended a property in Merrylands and spoke to a 20-year-old man. He was issued a field court attendance notice for aggravated burnout (2) and his licence was suspended. He will appear in court at a later date.

Strike Force Puma will continue to gather intelligence and monitor high-risk drivers and high-risk driving behaviour.
