Two women and man charged following affray in Liverpool

A man and two women have been charged following an assault and affray in Sydney’s west, NSW Police say.

Police have been told just before 8pm on Thursday 28 September 2017, two women aged 23 and 18, became involved in an argument with a 28-year-old man at a licensed premises on Scott Street, Liverpool.

It will be alleged during the argument; the 28-year-old man has punched the 23-year-old woman in the face, before being removed by security.

As the man was standing out the front of the venue, it will be alleged the two women, began to throw glasses and other items at the 28-year-old man, with one of the glasses hitting a security guard in the head.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated him at the scene for a laceration to the back of his head.

Officers attached to Liverpool Local Area Command attended and commenced an investigation.


A short time later, a 28-year-old man was arrested on Bigge Street, Liverpool.

He was taken to Liverpool Police Station where he was charged with assault and affray.

The man was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Wednesday 1 November 2017.

The two women were also taken to Liverpool Police Station where they were both charged with affray.

Both women were granted conditional bail and are due to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Wednesday 25 October 2017.

Inquiries into the incident are continuing.
