Two youths charged over pizza driver robbery

Two youths have been charged after allegedly robbing a pizza delivery driver yesterday.

At 7.50pm on Thursday 4 April 2019, a 20 year old Dominos pizza driver was threatened and robbed of pizzas and other food items at Mayfield by two people. The victim was not injured in the robbery.

Launceston CIB this afternoon arrested and charged a 15year old youth with Aggravated Robbery. He has been bailed to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court under Youth Justice Act.

A second 16 year old youth has also been arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery. He has been remanded in custody to appear in an out of hours court this evening at 8pm.
